┼ 프린터할때 이런에러가 떠요!!: 바붕 ┼
│ 제컴에 연결된 프린터가 EPSON STYLUS PHOTO 1270 인데요.
│ 아범이랑 맥이랑 같이 연결해서 쓰거덩요.
│ 근데, 아범에서는 잘되는데 어느순간부터 갑자기 맥에서는이런 이상한 에러가 뜨네요..
│ 드라이버를 다시 깔아봤는데도 여전히 같은 증상이구요..
│ 얘가 대체 갑자기 왜 그러는 걸까요? 어케하면 좋을지 도와주세요~~

│ This error indicates that "no such file exists".
│ Details
│ On the surface, this error has a rather obvious explanation: You tried to open a file that isn't there. Underneath, there
│ is a lot more than meets the eye.
│ The Mac OS file system keeps track of files, folders and disk volumes using several techniques. The obvious one is the
│ name of the item. But 2 other things are tracked as well. The first is the volume reference number that the file or
│ folder is stored on. And the second is the name, and number of the parent folder. A parent folder is the name (and
│ volume reference number and parent folder) that the file is actually stored in.
│ What to do
│ One (or more) of these 3 things (name, reference number or parent) is wrong. This can occur in several ways. First,
│ you may be using an application that "remembers" the location of files. If so, consider the following set of
│ circumstances:
│ 1) You create a file using the application that "remembers".
│ 2) You re-name the folder that the file is stored in.
│ 3) You try to access the file after you re-named the folder.
│ 4) You get "error -43".
│ Another possibility exists. When the original Mac OS was released (known with fondness as System 4.2, it included a
│ file system that didn't have folders. Everything was visible in one window (the disk window). Apple quickly realized the
│ error of their ways and created Folders with the release of System 6.0. BUT, they decided to allow users of the older
│ system to continue to have access to their original files. This introduced some very strange side effects. One of them
│ continues to plague developers today. The file system still has the ability to access those original files. But it does it
│ through a different set of system commands than the way you access files in the current system. These commands will
│ fail with a -43 error if you use them in the same way as you use the current ones.
│ This means that the possibility exists that the application you are using is written incorrectly.
│ A third and probably most likely possibility exists. Applications routinely create "Preference Files". Inside of a the
│ preference file you will commonly find file location information stored (using the name, reference number and parent
│ stuff once again). These files can get corrupted. One of the rather standard things you hear from Technical Support
│ people is "Throw the Preference File away". You should give serious thought to following that advice. It MAY just solve
│ the problem.
